Getting pregnant after rhinoplasty
One month after rhinoplasty, it would be possible for you to take action for pregnancy.
Major internal swelling of the nose disappears after one month, so getting pregnant after one month would be OK.
However, some minor swelling both internally and externally will take several months to resolve completely.
Regarding the fact that hormonal-related swelling from pregnancy can exacerbate this swelling, it would be more advised to wait for one year.
During the pregnancy, due to the hormonal changes in the body, intra-cellular fluids increase and cause swelling of the nose. This swelling accompanies with slight size increment of the nose.
Swelling of the nose during the pregnancy, causes nasal congestion.
Anyway, the person who performs rhinoplasty, will return to normal condition after one month and can resume normal activities.
After this one month, repairing the nasal tissue is almost finished. Although final repairing and complete reduction of the swelling occurs after one year.
Rhinoplasty after giving birth
Two months after giving birth, the person can go for rhinoplasty. However, the mother is advised to stop breast-feeding for twelve hours after surgery.
Rhinoplasty for breast-feeding mothers
12 hours after nasal plastic surgery all anesthetic medicines will go out of your body and you can safely breast-feed your infant.
Rhinoplasty during the pregnancy
Rhinoplasty is prohibited during pregnancy. Because anesthesia and surgical operations can be dangerous and have negative effect on a developing embryo. Ladies who want to do rhinoplasty, have to take pregnancy test. If the result turns out positive, they cannot do surgery.
