Nasal congestion is sometimes caused by allergies, the solution to which is anti-allergy sprays. Using phenylephrine drops to relieve nasal congestion is dangerous and addictive. Nasal congestion can also be caused by incorrect execution of rhinoplasty surgical techniques or because of a remaining deviated septum.

فنیل افرین (Phenylephrine) یک قطره/اسپری بینی با اثر گشادکننده موقت عروق است که برای کاهش گرفتگی بینی استفاده میشود، اما مصرف طولانیمدت آن (بیش از ۳-۵ روز) باعث وابستگی، التهاب مخاط بینی و گرفتگی برگشتی شدیدتر میشود. این حالت که رینیت medicamentosa نام دارد، فرد را مجبور به استفاده مکرر از قطره میکند و ترک آن دشوار است.راهکارهای جایگزین ایمن:
شستوشوی بینی با سرم نمکی (نرمال سالین).
استفاده کوتاهمدت از اسپریهای استروئیدی (با تجویز پزشک).
تنفس بخار آب گرم با اکالیپتوس.
⚠️ هشدار: فنیل افرین فقط در موارد ضروری و حداکثر ۳ روز قابل استفاده است. در صورت اعتیاد به قطره، برای ترک تدریجی با پزشک مشورت کنید. 🚫
A CT scan before rhinoplasty is usually requested when the surgeon needs a more detailed evaluation of the internal structures of the nose and sinuses, especially in patients with a history of nasal obstruction, severe septal deviation, polyps, or breathing problems. This imaging method provides detailed cross-sectional and three-dimensional views of the bones, nasal septum, and sinuses, helping the surgeon plan more accurately for correcting deviations and internal nasal problems at the same time as cosmetic surgery. However, it is not necessary for all patients and is often recommended only in specific cases.
